Terms of use
What Foodee is
Foodee is a marketplace that connects customers with independent cooks. Cooks are not Foodee employees. The food is made, sold, and delivered or handed over by the cook, who is responsible for it, for following food laws, and for their own taxes.
Cooks
To sell on Foodee you must hold the food safety certificate and food license that apply to you, upload them truthfully, keep them current, list ingredients and allergens accurately, and follow all laws. Foodee may approve, hide, or remove any kitchen at any time, including when a document expires or a safety report is made.
Customers
You must give accurate information, read allergen details before ordering, and tell the cook about any allergy. Orders are requests until the cook confirms.
Payment
For now, customers pay cooks directly, outside Foodee, as the cook explains after confirming. Foodee does not hold your money and is not a party to that payment. If this changes, we will update these terms first.
Cancellations
Customers can cancel before the cook starts preparing. A cook who does not reply within 48 hours has the order cancelled automatically. Cooks may cancel confirmed orders with a reason.
Reviews and messages
Be honest and civil. We may remove content that is abusive, false, or unlawful.
Safety reports
If you report a safety problem, we may share it with the cook and with health authorities.
Liability
Foodee provides the platform as is. To the fullest extent the law allows, Foodee is not liable for the food, the cook's conduct, or losses from an order. This section needs attorney review.
Changes and contact
We may update these terms and will say when we do. Questions: contact the site owner.
